Spanish Zone is commitmet is to teach Spanish in a fun way. Books, Cds and DVDs are carefully selected in order to accomplish the program goals. Spanish Zone selects material developed by expert pedagogues in Mexico and Spain for the teaching of Spanish as a second language. During all lessons children use 3 important senses to learn a language, therefore they will experience a total immersion into Spanish. Listening to short stories and music will stimulate their listening sense and their ears become accustomed to a different pronunciation. Just like babies do, in order for them to learn to speak they must listen to words, experiment and repeat these in different situations. Children of any age are able to learn Spanish if they get used to hear and repeat words. Visualizing is another important element wile learning or teaching a language as children are able to relate figures to words. The teacher accomplishes this by using flash cards, games and computer software. Each lesson includes some conversational time providing children with an opportunity to play as if they were in a real 100% Spanish situation. Playing is also an important learning element, children activate their tact sense, every movement the body makes while acting the situation will help them remember the sentences and vocabulary for each situation. *This material is for 3 years and older. |
